Keeping Fair(er) Futures in Sight!

ECOPOLIS Brussels is evolving. Instead of gathering everything into one big festival day a year, we’re spreading the energy across a whole series of events: some large, some intimate, all at the intersection of culture, ecology, social justice and imagination. Walk with us, listen, think, debate, there’s something for everyone.

The upcoming events before the summer fit perfectly with ECOPOLIS: at the intersection of culture and ecology, innovative, important in these times, or precisely small-scale and local.
We’re asking the big questions — like the one Anna Tsing poses in her anthology: what is the art of living on a damaged planet? Donna Haraway’s call to Stay with the Trouble has never felt more pressing. And Mikaela Loach sharpens the urgency further: if so many just solutions to the climate crisis already exist, why are the ones that compromise human rights and justice the only ones being taken seriously? ECOPOLIS is and remains a space to discover bold new writers, thinkers, and doers pushing at this frontier.

Come walk, listen, reflect, join the conversation.

Stay in the loop
Events are always listed on our website, and you can sign up for our newsletter, landing in your inbox every month or two with everything you need to know.

And for those who love the magic of a full festival day: mark 5 December 2026 in your calendar. We’ll be gathering at De Markten in Brussels for a more intimate edition of our annual day festival.

See you there!
